Creating a realistic swing effect.

this not difficult, no animator.

 

i create effect wherby .gif image of gate swings inward.

ive tried (admittedly) not hard @ doing skew options within edge animate cannot swing realisticly.

i think may need 3 or 4 images show 3 or 4 stages. load them on stage, select them in elements panel, convert symbol.

double click symbol on stage enter edit.

now use display on , off each of images.

select image 1 , move playhead 1 notch - select display on left , choose on - move play head 1 more notch - choose display off - select next image without moving playhead , choose display on - move next notch , choose display 0ff - select 3rd image select on - move 1 notch - select display off - etc...

make distance between each notch (time on timeline) small want.

this should smooth enough.

 

the other way use jquery animate. skewing smoothly may need add easing.

 

you should able add easing skewing if did directly in animate.
