I'm unable to use CC applications, they crash with my current user

hallo,

 

i'm on mac osx 10.8.4 and, in order install , use of cc (and formerly cs6) products (except acrobat pro), have rely on separate user on machine, not ideal situation.

 

the story far is:

 

1) reinstalled mac scratch osx , adobe cs6 , went right.

 

2) did manual recovery of home directory backup (no adobe apps data involved) went right.

 

3) @ point became unable use apps: photoshop , illustrator crashed silently , application manager triggered crash report

 

4) created new user called "adobe" on machine , user it's right, run cs6 products , updaters

 

5) user adobe uninstalled cs6 suite , run adobe cs official cleaner app, went right

 

6) user adobe downloaded adobe cc installer, installed photoshop, illustrator , acrobat, went right. cc apps , updaters work.

 

7) if switch current user can use acrobat. photoshop , illustrator crash silently , main creative cloud app triggers crash report

 

from deduct problem somewhere inside home directory or ~/library logs , crash reports don't offer suggestion.

 

do have suggestion? can do/check?

i have been searching time way edit metadata of video file created along de-novo file. specifically, vlc example, displays metadata text when begins playing file. trying access to. seems me, if there way create metadata in first place, there *must* way edit it. how? using either 11.04 or 12.04 kubuntu. nautilus it's nice icon displays of photos , vids. typically use gwenview , gimp photos , vlc , avidemux video. these tools work things, occasionally, there video has wrong or verbose metadata , far have found no way edit stuff. vlc has option purports work in cases, not reliable, looking swiss-army-knife solution can handle multiple formats (avi/wmv/mpg/mp4/etc/etc) in manner exfalso audio files. "ffmpg" command-line tool not work way, may part of app does. there video geek out there in ubu-land has known solution? folks use create these files in first place? thanks, ct use c...
