Thread: Multihead HOW?

oh my, every single time new release of ubuntu comes out have same problem.

can't make work on multiple monitors without hours , hours , hours of messing around.

time install xubuntu virtualbox (configured 3 heads) , installed.

have? 3 identical screens , nothing can find alter this.

tell me, please please please tell me, how make multihead work in xubuntu?

this limitation of virtualbox, not xubuntu, if installed in virtual machine. in virtual machine limited hardware abstraction layer provides "graphics card".

i've never attempted run multiple monitors in virtual machine, i'll try find out if can done without identical screens.

if have had trouble using multiple screens on bare metal installation, there here can help.

edit: looks should @ least able use dual monitors, spanned, vbox. not sure 3. i'm sorting through virtualbox forum right now.
