No audio when using insert or overwrite button.

not sure did because has worked fine in past when bring video timeline vias source monitor overwrite or insert button no audio. audio if drag clip not when use (.) or (,) shortcuts. did inadvertantly change or work around?

are using ppro cc?

 

if so, source patching , track targeting has been changed.  see http://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/source-patching-track-targetting.html explanation.

 

make sure select unlocked audio track source track before using insert or overwrite.
