Removing image to put in a white background

hi,

 

so i've been trying (for days) remove background image , in turn put image on white background. of these images have shadows- have tried remove, find ways them image not profressional or ideal purpose.

so far i've tried using magnetic lasso tool quick selective tool, whenever feel it's going right direction, messing up. tips, or simple walk through appreciated, think i'm making lot more difficult is!
