Thread: 2D Programming in Python 3


hi everyone,

doing research project complete on summer. have chosen use python because feel able accomplished within next few months.

problem is, have chosen python 3 , not python 2 language of choice. found 'pygame' 2d programming, not features supported python 3. of have viable options suggest in regards python 3 game development in 2d? i'm not looking complicated. looking create simple platformer.

if else fails, thinking of using c++, have several books college lying around. but, prefer use python 3 if could. exploring options next few days before started.

its entirely possible use (most of) coding styles python 3.x while using python 2.6 or 2.7. way able use more libraries available in 2.x, have little code re-write python 3 down road.
