who else is getting "blocked plug-in" - help!

is else frustrated am?  keep getting "blocked plug-in" no apparent reason.  have tried download adobe flash-player many different ways , macbook won't it.  working fine until few days ago.  emptied cache - have caused problem?  @ appreciated.  thank you.

download offline installer here: http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/mac /install_flash_player_11_osx.dmg

if won't download directly, right click , "save as"… do not mount dmg or run installer yet!

go to: mac hd/library/internet plugins

trash flash player.plugin file there

go to: mac hd/library/application support/adobe

trash flash player folder (the whole folder)

empty trash

reboot

mount dmg , run installer.

before opening flash content in safari, open safari>preferences, , check security tab make sure "allow other plugins" checked.
