Thread: Virtualbox horror. How to install Xen or OpenVZ in Ubuntu 12.04?

hello,

i've been using virtualbox years , used it. past 1 or 2 years has been headaches me though. last installation of ubuntu 10.04 started doing total freezes more , more seemed appear when had virtualbox running. did totally clean reinstall of ubuntu 12.04 never had problems.

2 days ago installed virtualbox , doesn't seem along ubuntu. installed centos 6, ubuntu 12.04 desktop , ubuntu server 12.04 virtual machines in virtualbox. centos seems work ok, runs extremely slow (booting takes 15 minutes). booting virtual ubuntu server makes whole computer freeze, ending me having hit reset button, , virtual ubuntu 12.04 desktop worst of all: when trying boot machine whole computer reboots without message or warning. retried booting of these installs numerous times, continue have same result.

don't want touch virtualbox anymore. website osalt.com suggested xen , openvz. looked in software center couldn't find of two. in synaptic found package called openxenmanager described "full-featured graphical management tool xen using xenapi". installed that, when hit super-button , search things 'xen', 'openxenmanager' or 'open xen manager' can't find anything.

don't know how install openvz either.


know how can install either xen, openvz, or other simple virtualisation package replace virtualbox?

hello,   a fellow employee requires adobe acrobat pro installed use, , management me have sorted out. employee uses thin client connect terminal server of administration work.   i require single license adobe acrobat pro used single user.   will there license issues installing adobe acrobat pro on terminal server?   can install adobe acrobat pro on terminal server?   thanks, david hi david,   yes, can install acrobat terminal servers... !   the licensing terminal server considered normal licensing process, means need buy many number of licenses acrobat number of users accessing terminal server (like citrix) access software. eg if 10 users accessing citrix server @ particular time use acrobat software need 10 licenses same. when i try using AE CC 3d camera tracker after the first step it says "Analysis solve failed." help?

im attempting editor , trying edit segment video game (bo2) , im trying have text stick wall in video. every time try using camera tracker spends 5 minutes completing first step , guess succeeds because goes second step says "solving camera" or that, red bar appears saying "analysis solve failed." do? if you're trying use 3d camera tracker on movie froma vieo game not shot real camera, camera tracker unable solve "real" camera matched scene.
