Form Resaving Issue and Security Preferences
hey adobe helpers-
i have client whom i've made pdf of questionnaire supply clients fill out using forms created using acrobat.
on machine, older machine running xp, have been able open doc, fill out forms, save document under different title, , e-mail them information intact.
now, i've sent file client , let me know not able resave file when testing out how filling out form works, stating error message reading, "data typed form not saved. adobe reader can save blank copy of form. please print completed form if copy records," not going work client, means it's not going work me either. document needs able filled out , resaved under new title , emailed client.
further looking it, contact sent me screenshot of properties>security tab states
-document assembly
-content copying accessibility
-commenting
-singing
-creation of template pages
are not allowed. so, double checked base document sent on them, , of security options allowed.
there has got missing make file accessable everyone.
is issue acrobat vs reader? need change or inform client in order form working , savable forms filled out.
and again- aggrivating on end because not running of these issues on multiple machines, , yet of contacts , client running issue, feeling bit in dark on what's going on. if have info on this, please let me know can.
when created form in acrobat pro, did save reader extended pdf enable additional features (acrobat x) or enable more tools (acrobat xi) selected? if not, explain why client not able save form data using acrobat reader.
hope helps.
