Live streaming with fms

hi,

 

i suggested user p2p communication build flash interactive video streaming applicaton.

 

but found following in the  "adobe stratus".

 

if data can’t sent client client, or if need publish larger number of subscribers, use flash media server 3 or upcoming flash media server 3.5 (www.adobe.com/go/fms) fallback client-server data delivery.

 

in case subscribers 500 or more. should user client server data delivery?

there no software limit set on number of simultaneous rtmp streams can serve on adobe media server, configuration, server hardware, , infrastructure may cause limitations in capacity. 500 require moderate hardware , chunk of bandwidth depends on you're streaming.
