david going write books using dwcc php, have in past, thx

it's not going simple dwcc no longer supports server behaviours david recomend use, mysqli (improved) or pdo.

 

dwcc has no current facilities can make php , database design automated unless want use outdated methods - php php , work dw version.

 

if david writes php/database book have generic book can used or without dw. has covered basics of mysqli , pdo connection in 1 of books albeit chapter.

 

what missing book covers new improved mysqli method of getting info database, php displaying has not changed. needed simple book covering prepared sqli statements , few of major sqli commands replace old sql ones.

 

the long , short of : there no book can written dwcc software no longer supports up-to-date dynamic development without being hand written, hence reference being generic.

 

can suggest google 'tutorials mysqli'. there resources out there,  manual connection , retrieving information database via php lot simpler imagine.

hi, relatively new linux (have used many live disks) , have had install of ubuntu 12.04 few days now. part have found easy use , have been comfortable it. have first question can't resolve myself: adding googles repository list. when first ran command supplied google found did not have wget installed. used apt-get install it. worked fine (as far can tell) re-ran googles code : wget -q https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub -o- | sudo apt-key add -deb http://dl.google.com/linux/deb/ stable non-free , message 'gpg: conflicting commands' tell me going wrong , how fix please new script : wget -q https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub -o- | sudo apt-key add linux_signing_key.pub need edit /etc/apt/sources.list , add line @ end deb http://dl.google.com/linux/deb/ stable non-free end hope find usefull edit: need root or use sudo make changes /etc/apt/sour...
