Regression? Adobe CMIS Connector 4.2 and CC ten times slower than 4.0.

hello dear forum members!

 

we developed adobe drive cmis connector our dam system , noticed major navigation performance degradation

when updating cmis connector on windows client systems version 4.0 version 4.2 or cc.

 

when visiting folder:

 

version 4.0 getchildren request ("children" url) , finished: 1 call

 

version 4.2 , cc getchildren request , in addition call:

   - getobjectparents ("parents" url) each object in folder

   - getobjectparents folder of path of each object

 

so lets have folderx path

 

/top1/folder1/folderx

 

containing 500 images of photo session needs sorting get

 

1x getchildren

500x getobjectparents (one each image)

2x500x getobjectparents (2 each folder of path of each image)

 

in sum: 1501 calls until same folder gets displayed.

 

any chance gets fixed on adobe drive cmis connector?

can on server side prevent behavior?

does adobe drive support paging in big folders?

anything else can help?

i have same problem mac os x finder. explorer , windows 7 have 1 call per folder, maybe stupid function of finder?
