Eye dropper tool between documents

i have 2 open files in illustrator , want use eye dropper tool select color 1 document , use in other. there way this?

you don't.

 

perhaps there plug in not know of it.

 

edit wrong bring focus document want have object change color , select it.

 

then bring focus document object wish pick color from

 

then not select objectt rather click eyedropper tool , drag eye dropper tool on document contains object wish change color.

 

that should it

 

i got wrong again.

then click object eyedropper tool , hold mouse down , drag iut document object color want bepicked , it.
