Not preloading in full

i working captivate 5.5. have simulation video has 250 slides. have set pre load option 100%. project has menu system allows people navigate multiple stages of timeline. if select menu jumps towards end of lime line within first ~20 sec of project loading blank screen , pause attached button on slide not work. after time simulation images show user has missed part of simulation. did come across potential fix required replacing of cpswfgenerator.dll & stopondemandloading.ini adobe url no longer accurate.

i think may confusing 2 different things here. 

 

in cp5, preloading 100% of file not mean instant response when jump slide 1 lot later in project.  because when project loaded up, cp5 needs 'render' of slides in between jump slide , target slide before load target slide.  can delay ranging anywhere split second up, depending on size of project.  if want test this, try timing difference in delay when jumping slide 10 slides down timeline 50, 100, 200.  delay progressively greater.

 

this delay issue has been mitigated extent in cp6 , cp7 because take different approach how objects added , removed timeline.
