Thread: Pandaboard will not boot - problem with / and /tmp

i followed these instructions:
linux

steps:

place sd card @ host computer.
make sure sd card not mounted (just umount if needed)
identify correct raw device name (like /dev/sde - not /dev/sde1)

run following command write it:
(replacing omap4 , sde right values i.e. omap beagle image.)

zcat ./ubuntu-12.04-preinstalled-desktop-armhf+omap4.img.gz |sudo dd bs=4m of=/dev/sde ; sudo sync
found https://wiki.ubuntu.com/arm/omapdesktopinstall

looks going ok, message comes saying card being resized, goes down reboot , when comes following message:

errors found while checking disk drive /

press f attempt fix errors, ignore, s skip mounting, or m manual recovery
for example if press "s" skip error message reads:

the disk drive /tmp not ready yet or not present
if don't few minutes console screen says:

ubuntu 12.04 lts localhost.localdomain tty1

localhost login:
i don't know login fore this.

can manual recovery there have no idea i'm not sure going on. since i'm using pre built image thought work?

ideas on this?

a little bump little
