hi there, have installed 64 bit ubuntu desktop (12.04) , have subsequently downloaded 32bit desktop iso friend. when firefox download dialogue completes shows file size of 701mb, however, size on disk appears 735.4 mb (735,358,976 bytes) not fit on standard cd. there doing wrong or can do? firefox shows filesize in megabytes (mb). can calculated using following formula: 735358976 / (2 ^ 10) = 701.29296875 mb nautilus shows filesize in mebibytes (mib). can calculated using formula: 735358976 / (1000 * 2) = 735.358976 mib you're not doing wrong. can't use cd. seems difference there annoy people , me. i making form in acrobat xi pro.   in 1 text field, created array of several elements. want other text fields display elements array. instance, 1 field should display 3rd element, field should display 13th element, etc.   the javascript making array long, , don't want have re-calculate array every single time (in order reduce rendering time when open form on ipad). why i'd have create array once, , refer throughout form. a field can not contain array. can contain value of certain type. mean array contents value of field (a text field, assume), or mean created array in script associated field , want use array in script associated field? i have desktop pc pci-e visiontek ati radeon hd 4670 video card. have fresh install of ubuntu 12.04 64bit. installed amd driver additional drivers. rebooted. reason under system settings\displays, shows have laptop monitor. before installed driver, showed correct monitor. desktop computer , monitor. can wrong? open source drivers card better use closed source ones? after doing research learned open source drivers more stable use. however, cause ati card run hotter. around 61c in ubuntu. windows catalyst driver showed around 35c in windows. installed regular proprietary driver, ( not post release one), in ubuntu through additional drivers , temp 38c. haven't had major glitches yet, (knock on wood). display showing laptop, cannot find info it. i'm guessing "plug , play monitor" in windows. i've install 12.04 on vaio second os. created 2 new partitions swap , /. when lid closed, system fails in suspend mode. indicator blinks in windows (by powered on green, on suspend links orange). when start system again pressing key, looks normal boot. no changes saved. can problem? p.s updates installed. nobody knows?) i in process of downloading lr5.2 release candidate see if work @ least little better. besides being slow, system crashing regularly when lr5 being used. doesn't crash when lr5 not running.   but, i'm considering going lr 4.4 while. still loaded, not open catalog made lr 5.   my lr4.4 last files made month or ago, if went last one, it'd missing files added since switching on 5.   what easiest way me able open new catalog in old version?   or, open last working 4.4 catalog , tell sync itself. that'd adding 4000 files, not sure it'd know find new folders might have created. fwiw, main catalog has around 190,000 images right now.   windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, 12 gigs of ram.   thanks, m. jackson you can't read lr5 catalogs lr4, instead:   save (xmp) metadata in lr5, quit.   reload previous (lr4) catalog in lr4.   import new photos in lr4 (those in lr5 catalog weren't/aren't in lr4 catalog yet), , read (xmp) metadata older photos edited in lr5. ...
