hello, have been trying change default file manager, , have installed , run nautilus on xubuntu system (latest version, installed). have been told , did far has not produced results expected. expect should able change on system place links installed default dvd. have observed 3 types of these: 1 . there non-removable links file system , home system maintains on desktop. 2 . there removeable (so think) menu launcher (for home, documents, downloads, media types, etc) placed on lower desktop panel dvd installer. 3 . there place links have created on desktop , panel launchers. edit menu creating these same creating application launchers, , different edit menu place link type 2. through settings manager->preferred applications window able select nautilus on thunar. has been saved, has been effective type 2. links of type 1 cannot removed, therefore annoy me when impulsively hit them , find don't have search feature (nautilus among relative few of gtk 2 too...

i wanted know how add terminal launcher panel. i've tried right clicking panel , clicking add panel , creating custom application launcher , typing in command of terminal , shows me terminal icon in top left corner , clicking ok, when click launcher icon on bar, error says not find application "terminal". appreciated! this question little stale perhaps else need answer. launch command in terminal custom application launcher choosing "application in terminal" first dropdown box. however, appears applet needs ported use in mate. can make work in mean time chosing "application" in top dropdown , appending "mate-terminal" front of command (or if want lauch terminal). name default terminal application in mate. looked in mate github see if make change couldn't find it. workaround should accomplish same thing, @ least me. note: don't forget add -x after mate...

when export footage looks awful. i'm using cs6. before export footage looks fine when preview sequence set on full resolution. there no way me re import footage because saved on computer on month ago. when did import (just including in case important) had click show package contents until arrived @ raw mts files. below example of how footage looking once exported. i don't see pixelation, see fielding.   is source footage progressive scan or interlaced? do sequence settings match source footage? are introducing fields in export? what final destination exported file... web, dvd? what details of export settings? a screen shot helps.
