hi, upgraded 11.10 solve different issue, , got couple more. use dvorak keyboard layout, , girlfriend uses querty. use kde, uses gnome. need login , screen lock manager has these features: plays nicely kde plays nicely gnome lets select available window manager/desktop configuration, , plays nicely it lets choose keyboard use during login. when "plays nicely with" means can not launch session one, when exit doesn't blow bunch of errors. example, using kdm if log in default 11.10 setup can't log out because kdm doesn't support whatever going on setup. fails, shows unhelpful error dialog , leaves logged in. bump Forum The Ubuntu Forum Community Ubuntu Official Flavours Support Installation & Upgrades [all variants] Is there an 11.10+ login screen with these features? hi all,   i'm having issue of images in muse. here's situation:   i have multiple images want scale when rollover them. started 300px 300px images, , placed them html objects in muse uploading them flickr , pasting direct link. in turn created 300px 300px minimum frame around objects. far, good.   i used -webkit transforms scale object 0.2 default. set css in "metadata" section page wanted effect used on. set scale 1 on hover. creates nice scaling effect without image blur, interpolation, or degradation.   the problem have multiple images (which have same hover effect) within 300px border, , won't scale since technically there invisible wall in front of neighboring object. potential problem i've yet address if hover effect working on neighboring object, i need dynamically change z-index other objects don't obscure image being hovered on .   html:   <div class="portrait"> <img src=" http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3728/9576243835_20aa7...

hello! situation follows. fiance owns hp laptop - around 4 years old. decided click yes when asked upgrade version 12.04. , 300+kms away. previous version - believe - 11.10. after installation laptop rebooted , nothing happened. black screen etc. mentioned in recovery mode effect pretty same, though time there output before black screen nothing. last information spotted apparently "failed create pty" rather weird. called her, navigated through grub , here able remotely determine: the "initrd /boot/initrd.img-...-generic" line disappeared. hello,   the name of images add show above image in green text. when produce output, shows in final product of file. happens files not others. feature can turn off? want avoid going through every document , manually delete it.   thanks lynn   by way, using framemaker 9     lynn,   it looks names may either conditional text or set in color view.   using charater designer, place cursor in middle of green file name , check see colour name being used.   then use view > color > views check see if green colour set "invisible" in of 6 views.   if is, switch view. can switchthe colour views using esc v v # shortcut, # number between 1-6 representing allowed view.   if not, in view 1 set colour invisible , in view 6 set visible. toggle between views using shortcut turn off filenames. hi guys - wasted time - thought i'd mention here - may in future.   i've got mobile app uses stagewebview news/info page. however app graphics use gpu render mode.   when test app using air debug launcher (mobile) stagewebview not displayed.   if flip render mode auto shows fine in simulator.   most importantly - gpu work fine when deployed actual device.   i'm pretty sure not issue month or 2 ago (possibly issue current air version displaying stagewebview on desktop - i'm on 3.8.0.910 ( see  http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1175722   ). i had issue on earlier versions of air. don't know if fix problem, me had listeneres , additional calls happening before initating webview. moving "webview.stage = this.stage;" before "webview.viewport = new rect...", worked again.
