hi,   i have project 90 percent of footage shot on epic , scarlet 23.976 fps time base , delivery 23.976 fps well.   the remaining 10 percent @ 24, 25 fps time base.   i have converted clips 23.976 fps in project window of premier pro - right click - modify - interpret footage. enough ensure fine broadcast delivery or need hard ware conversion 23.976 ? im editing native r3d files no transcoding has been done.   there no audio attached clips purely vision there no issues audio side of things.   also have phantom footage in pro res format @ 30 fps - converted in same way 23.976 , unsure in quicktime format if need hardware converting or if conversion 23.976 in premier enough.   any advice appreciated !   many thanks, tim. interpet footage should work fine 24 fps stuff.  might work fine 25 fps, though see slight slow down in playback.  30 fps stuff show noticeable 'slow motion' effect. i using 10.04 , worked , decided upgrade. installed 12.04 on sony sz780 nvidia gforce 8400m gs accelerated graphics card. xorg nvidia panel says using 295.40 driver. driver causes computer boot extremely slowly.....like 3 or more minutes. and, computer not shut down. when choosing shut down option , clicking next sure shut down message box, computer shuts down os, leaves fan , power lights on. shut down have hold down power switch. same thing happens on restart. stalls after looks os down fan , power on , go no further. sony has 2 graphics options. 1) .performance.accelerated graphics or2) stamina low graphics. earlier used same computer graphics switch set stamina low graphics option , booted find , shut down fine, used unity 2d. problem started when used 12.04 settings application check proprietary drivers , installed 295.40. settings gives recommended driver , drive option. both options install 295.40. nvidia pushes 295.40. nvicia xorg panel info...

hi, i'm having issue starting xfce using user account. after putting in user id , password splash screen, blank screen 'wait' cursor, , goes login prompt. i've tried both xfce session , xubuntu session , both this. able login after did upgrade using user account after ssh'd in @ work today got home , happened. think have me messing around xrdp on ssh today. deleted startwm.sh out of xrdp directory because getting failed load gnome message when trying remote desktop strange because don't have gnome installed. when deleted startwm.sh , used mstsc (remote desktop) login desktop dropped me prompt. typed startxfce4 startup desktop prompt. worked , able use gui think borked settings somehow? restored startwm.sh backup issue still happens. however, on machine locally when choose guest account login goes xfce fine without issues. whenever try user account xfce won't load. ideas? must on user account messed things up. can't find in /v...

hello dear forum members!   we developed adobe drive cmis connector our dam system , noticed major navigation performance degradation when updating cmis connector on windows client systems version 4.0 version 4.2 or cc.   when visiting folder:   version 4.0 getchildren request ("children" url) , finished: 1 call   version 4.2 , cc getchildren request , in addition call:    - getobjectparents ("parents" url) each object in folder    - getobjectparents folder of path of each object   so lets have folderx path   /top1/folder1/folderx   containing 500 images of photo session needs sorting get   1x getchildren 500x getobjectparents (one each image) 2x500x getobjectparents (2 each folder of path of each image)   in sum: 1501 calls until same folder gets displayed.   any chance gets fixed on adobe drive cmis connector? can on server side prevent behavior? does adobe drive support paging in big folders? anything else can help...

hi, recently, laptop failed boot windows 7. tried repair using recovery disk, of no use. not able in recovery wizard itself. created ubuntu bootable flash drive , tried repair in ubuntu. surprisingly has failed mount windows os drive, following error message. error mounting: mount exited exit code 13: ntfs_attr_pread_i: ntfs_pread failed: input/output error failed read ntfs $bitmap: input/output error ntfs either inconsistent, or there hardware fault, or it's a softraid/fakeraid hardware. in first case run chkdsk /f on windows reboot windows twice. usage of /f parameter very important! if device softraid/fakeraid first activate , mount different device under /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g. /dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabcc1). please see 'dmraid' documentation more detail tried, ntfsfix dev/sda3(which os drive), says drive can mounted , processed successfully. please me in regard! main motive of mine recover data present in...
