i have installed new version of flash player 11 yet enable on add ons stops me going on websites saying "this website has stopped working" , have try recover webpage yet many times try not work. websites let me use without happening google , facebook (aslong not try play games or videos) yet when disable flash player add ons can go on anypage want without happening cannot play videos because flash player disabled. frustrating have never had problem before if tell me if im missing need work or if there solution huge help? i can't find answer one. have edited fstab file 2 of internal ntfs partitions mounted on started-up. these 2 partitions show mounted drives in unity launcher - not want them visible in launcher. how remove visibility of these 2 partitions/drives in launcher (but leaving them phyiscally mounted)? 1 - install compiz config settings manager 2 - select ubuntu unity plugin 3 - click on tab labelled experimental 4 - scroll down show devices 5 - click drop menu , select never the mounted drives no longer show in launcher, they're still mounted, not showing. it seems if symlink videos folder somewhere else, video lense in unity won't find of videos. e.g. /home/me/videos -> /mnt/disk2/videos if restore videos folder folder, , throw video or 2 it, instantly found video lens, know it's not broken. there way force lense videos elsewhere, or follow symlinks? p.s. reason i'm doing way because home folder , os on small ssd, while lot of files, such music, videos , pictures folder, on bigger spindle drive. bump...............i'd know solution too, can't find on this. in workflow need 'printed' contact sheets out asap public at, note file numbers, view on screen > purchase. i have produced contact template 16up , on average print 10-18 sheets @ time. the time takes print not viable (anything 2 minutes (rare) - 20 minutes, average 15 mins +) i have set draft mode printing, increased ram 12gb (from 4) and average file 3000 pixels. i have set activity monitor (mac 10.8.4) watch , there seems no 'page outs' and cpu , free space seem within limits. i have tried pdf , jpeg file, seems take long. also tried on lr3, lr4.4 & lr5 trial, no difference.   am asking of os or lr. any input appreciated thanks   p.s. saw 1 or 2 other posts suggesting draft mode made massive difference big files, not mine. pages seem load quick @ first, hang. may imagination, time print seems increasing after searching think may have found solution ? we creating 1:1 previews editing photos before printing contact sheets. the 1:1 previews seemed causing hold ...

i doing large (500-page) book every page have own page name. p. 225 have page number , name (like "bicycles") on top of page in header. they'll 500 names. name-header placement vary left/right on alternating pages page numbers can do. on both right or left-handed pages name on outside top.  there way make header text-frame on master page content of header switches left side right side (and if) pages re-ordered, sort of way page numbers can do? looked through , previous questions didn't find answers. i'm working in indesign 5.5. are using facing pages? i'm presuming must if page numbers switch sides.   how getting unique text header? variable? if so, same page number -- put frame ant on each half of master , put variable in frame.
